UPLOAD

A few new items were uploaded today.

I am super tempted by wide blue iris tee, the black swan metal tech and the black swan binary crew neck. I think I have an addiction to the dark colour of black swan.

I will be picking up the Sprint Jacket II which is beautiful in this colour. Features a storable hood, cuffins and thumbholes. I will be returning my freestyle jacket for this one.

This item with the ray accents and black swan may be purchased as well.

Fit Review: Commute Pant

Work to Play Pants $128 (dark slate, black, iris blue)

Summary: slimmer fit work to play pants for "commuting"

These pants are the perfect pants for people who are commuting. They feature a very slim fit through the legs (too tight for my liking). They do have zipped pockets and stretchy ascent fabric. They are the tighter version of the freestyle pant. If you are looking for a replacement for the work to play pants, these are not the pant for you. Ive heard many complaints about the slim leg fits and negative reviews. Another negative thing, would be the restriction from the slim fit. I found bending over and moving my legs uncomfortable. I personally couldn't bike in these, thats for sure. They do have some reflective and flare details on the bottom (if you roll it up like the bottom photo).

Fit Review: Freestyle Pants

Free Style Pant $128 (dark slate, black)

Summary: the casual version of the work to play pants or commute pant

I found these pants to be extremely comfy. They have the right about of slim fit through the legs but still allow movement. The stretchy ascent material allowed easy movement and breathing. They are not very heavy so wearing these in the summer months wont be too bad. I was thinking about picking up a pair, but I would like a more darker grey. The drawstring waist makes it quite easy to tie up compared to the snap and zipper. I am wearing a size 32 in these photos (normally I am a 30 at other stores). If I am able to score a pair on markdown, I may pick up a pair in the future.

Urban Trekker Backpack

That backpack from the website header is finally on the AU side.

why we made this

For the city slickers among us, having one bag to store all our stuff is key. We engineered this backpack with space for our laptop and tablet and a separate pocket for sweaty gear. Additional pockets for our wallet, water bottle and keys provide easy access so we don't sweat the small stuff.

key features

  • the DWR finish (that's Durable Water Repellent) helps protect your gear
  • space for your electronics - store your laptop and tablet in the interior padded pocket
  • expandable front pocket keeps your sweaty duds isolated
  • quick access pockets hold your sunglasses, wallet and keys
  • riding in the dark? Hypalon® tab secures bike lights front and center
  • say goodbye to sweaty back syndrome - a contoured design helps with airflow
  • adjustable sternum strap ensures a snug fit
  • mesh pouch and heavy duty strap keep your mat snug and secure
  • side pockets have stretchy Luxtreme panels to hold your water bottle tight
  • mesh shoulder straps help to keep you cool when things heat up
  • a stowable rain cover with taped seams helps prevent leakage
  • tested to hold up to 50lbs/22kg - now that's a lot of stuff!

tech specs

  • designed for: to-and-from
  • fabrics: nylon, PU (polyurethane), Luxtreme®
  • properties: water-resistant
  • organisation: interior pocketing system, exterior pockets, laptop and tablet sleeve
  • measurements: 19" tall x 12" wide x 7" deep

Looks weird on the bottom photo (its in the expanded mode)

Also a sneak preview of some new run response shorts with RAY accents.

Upload Highlights

More commute line items have been uploaded. I am really liking the sprint long sleeve because of the RULU material. That soft luon is so comfy and cozy for the fall and winter. I think I will have to spurge and purchase one of these (Ill be blowing my budget again).

I am not a big fan of the "patches" they keep adding to random items.

Examples: Commute Tee II (the ugly plaid patches)

Fleece Jacket $128 (reminds me of those older gap sweaters with the shiny and fleece)

Fall Blazer Coat $298 (WOW, expensive)

Sprint Long Sleeve $88 (comes in black, grey, navy)

Commute Tee II $74 (navy and black swan)

Dear : lulu, please loose the patches

Made of Vitasea (hence the higher price)

Fit Review: Sprint Windblock Jacket

I personally loved this jacket, it has the waterproof front and arms. It also has the RULU back and RULU liner. Unfortunately this jacket ran quite small, so the small was very tight and the medium is a much better fit.

*The photos of the jacket before the tag photo is a size small, the ones after are a size medium*

The price is $138 which I found was reasonable for this jacket.

It also comes in a grey with black RULU.

The grey is the RULU material which allows more breathability and movement.

The RULU lines the entire jacket (except the sleeves).

This is the medium size below.

The medium is a much better fit throughout the body, the small was quite tight around the waist.

Fit Review: Freestyle Jacket

Can be found in most stores and online here.

This jacket makes a perfect jacket for the period between end of summer and the beginning of fall. It does not have any sort of liner so it wont keep you very warm. It will protect you from the rain and wind though. It has a zipper and button snaps along the front. Also has a adjustable cuff and pockets for your phone or wallet.

I had to size up on this jacket because of the slimmer fit on the arms. I find allot of the Lululemon mens jackets have been a size up for me. Not sure if Im growing or the items are shrinking.

It also comes in a white plaid print (which is not as nice as this one).

A little bit longer in the back and features reflective detail on the back and front.

The reversed side has the thicker plaid pattern.
